حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، وَمُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ. ح وحَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، وَهَذَا لَفْظُ حَفْصٍ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ،عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ، قَالَ: أَتَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سُبَاطَةَ قَوْمٍ، فَبَالَ قَائِمًا ثُمَّ دَعَا بِمَاءٍ فَمَسَحَ عَلَى خُفَّيْهِ ، قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد: قَالَ مُسَدَّدٌ: قَالَ: فَذَهَبْتُ أَتَبَاعَدُ، فَدَعَانِي حَتَّى كُنْتُ عِنْدَ عَقِبِهِ.
Narrated Hudhaifah: The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم came to a midden of some people and urinated while standing. He then asked for water and wiped his shoes. Abu Dawud said: Musaddad, a narrator, reported: I went far away from him. He then called me and I reached just near his heals.
